Why Aegis Care is different?

What separates Aegis from the other care management companies out there is Kyri Menaker. Prior to founding Aegis Care Management, Kyri worked throughout the healthcare continuum. She started her healthcare career as a social worker in a skilled nursing center, Kyri quickly worked her way up to a Regional Social Work role. Kyri was responsible for overseeing the discharge process, and coordinating safe discharge plans for a prominent skilled nursing company with over 30 locations. Kyri then decided to become a Licensed Nursing Home Administrator where she was responsible for the care of 200+ plus patients daily on average. She consistently maintained the highest standard of care for her staff and patients, as well as consistently received a 5-Star rating from the Department of Health and Senior Services. Kyri formed Aegis Care Management because she has seen and understands the ongoing change in our healthcare system. Patients are living longer, but now have to deal with the challenge of  insurance companies cutting benefits leading to hospitals and rehabilitation centers discharging quicker than ever.  Kyri is not only a Geriatric Care Manager, she is the advocate and voice your loved one needs to get the appropriate resources and care they are entitled to.

Who is eligible for your services?

We offer support for anyone who needs help managing their healthcare. However, we offer specialized services for older adults, people with disabilities, individuals with Alzheimer’s and dementia, and those diagnosed with Parkinson’s and other neurological disorders.

Can services be covered by insurance?

Yes, our services can be covered by select long term care insurance plans. To determine your eligibility, we can provide you with step-by-step instructions or contact your insurance company on your behalf. Please note that we do not accept Medicare.

How often do care managers see their clients?

Based on your unique needs, our care managers will work with you to develop a meeting schedule.

Do you offer free consultations?
